Senior Software Developer Embedded Systems (m/f/x)

PreciPoint GmbH, soon located in Garching near Munich, develops intelligent microscope systems and innovative analysis software, thus contributing to the digitalisation and further development of laboratories. Our customers range from medical laboratories and research institutions to industry.

To support our constantly growing team, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer Embedded Systems (m/f/x) at our future office in Garching in part- or fulltime as soon as possible.

• Development of firmware for embedded controller in C/C++ with focus on Cortex-M controller
• Design of a new architecture and its implementation in structured, modular code
• Capture and analyse requirements
• Close cooperation with the internal hard- and software departments as well as with external partners regarding integration and interface design
• Independent creation and execution of test procedures
• Establish and maintain documentation

• Relevant work experience of several years in the design of firmware
• Very good knowledge in programming with C/C++ on microcontrollers
• Profound expertise in software development, ideally according to IEC 62304
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a preferred emphasis on embedded systems
• Preferably, knowledge in electronics, mechatronics, or optics
• Experience with version control systems like Git or others
• Fluent English and ideally basic German language skills
• Very good communication skills and an independent work style
