Software Engineer (m/f/x) - Digital Microscopy
We digitize microscopy and laboratory workflows
PreciPoint GmbH, located in Garching near Munich, develops intelligent microscope systems and innovative analysis software, thus contributing to the digitalisation and further development of laboratories. Our customers range from medical laboratories and research institutions to industry.
To strengthen our existing team of experts in the field of digital microscopy, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/x) - Digital Microscopy at our location in Garching for an unlimited permanent position as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Further development of our microscope control software 'MicroPoint'
- Specification and implementation of driver components to control new hardware modules of the digital microscope
- Design and implementation of user interface elements to control the digital microscope
- Design, implementation, execution and documentation of component tests
- Maintenance of product documentation
- Planning and execution of development projects in coordination with our clients
Your profile
- Five years or more of professional experience in software development of a medical device, ideally according to IEC 62304
- Extensive experience in the development of user interfaces with WPF and MVVM
- Excellent programming skills in C# and .NET/.NETCore
- Excellent knowledge in digital image processing
- Confident handling of GIT Source Control
- Preferably first knowledge in hardware programming
- Knowledge of C++ is an advantage
- Business fluent English and very good German skills
- Enjoyment of project management and developing new ideas
- Very good communication skills within the team and with customers
